Born in Co. Mayo, Ireland, Maria has been racing in the U.S since 2010.  Based in the Midwest, she races for Cuttin Crew//Donkey Label.

She is a three time Irish National Cyclocross Champion 2020-2023. She was the also the first woman to represent Ireland in the Elite World Championships in Valkenburg in 2018. 

For this season Maria will be racing at the UCI level, with a midwest focus. She hopes to return to race in Europe during December, racing the Kerstperiode in Belgium, and continuing on to the Irish National Championships in January. While cyclocross is her true love, she also races road and mountain bike, and occasional appearances on the track. putting her off road skills to good use with some hard and fast criterium racing or turning left at the end of an oval.

In her spare time she works in the field of architecture, follows women's racing via twitter, and cuddles her two cats. Maria can be found around the Midwest cycling scene screaming for team mates, handing out medals to junior girls, and racing her bike as hard as she can.  You'll likely hear her before you see her.
